About this project

What you'll build: An app that turns any text or URL into a QR code image and (optionally) scans a QR from an image or camera to read it back.

Why it's a good starter: QR codes are everywhere in India, and a good library makes this achievable while still teaching real concepts.

What you'll learn: Using a library, handling image output, and (optionally) reading from a camera or file.

2. Build the generator

Take user text/URL and generate and display/download the QR image. Submit the working generator.

3. Add scanning (or styling)

Read a QR back from an uploaded image or camera, or add colour/logo styling. Submit the working feature.

4. Testing & Polish

Test with 5 inputs (URL, text, phone number) and confirm they decode correctly on a real phone.

5. Demo & Short Report
